Dr Amelia Lambers is an experienced and compassionate Skin Cancer Doctor with advanced qualifications in skin cancer medicine, skin cancer surgery and dermatology. She is committed to delivering world-class care through comprehensive early detection and thorough head-to-toe examinations.

Her expertise includes advanced skin cancer photography and the precise surgical management of skin cancer removal.

Expertise in Skin Cancer Medicine

Dr Lambers uses state-of-the-art body mapping photography to create a detailed timeline of your skin. This allows precise monitoring of moles and lesions over time. During each skin check, she performs a meticulous head-to-toe dermatoscopic examination and provides every patient with a personalised skin cancer plan, including images and recommendations for monitoring, biopsy or excision when appropriate.

Dr Lambers performs biopsies, excisions, grafts and flap repairs in the clinic’s procedure room. She has also recently spent twelve months in Perth, Western Australia working closely with a team of plastic surgeons and skin cancer GPs focusing on skin cancer treatment techniques.

Qualifications & Training

Dr Lambers is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a registered practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.
She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at The University of Notre Dame Fremantle, followed by an Honours degree at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Victoria.

She has successfully completed higher postgraduate skin cancer training, including:

  • Advanced Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine
  • Advanced Diploma in Skin Cancer Surgery
  • Professional Certificate in Dermoscopy
  • Diploma in Dermatology

These advanced skills allow her to confidently diagnose and manage even complex skin cancers.

A Doctor With a Warm Touch

Dr Lambers has relocated to the mountains with her kids and husband, a local orthopaedic surgeon. She continues to bring her down-to-earth, warm style to every consultation.
Outside of medicine, she is a loving mum and wife who enjoys yoga, meditation, a good laugh, and spending time with her two cuddly Groodles.
